About this deal

The class will need to be in small teams. As this is a jeopardy style game show, success doesn’t just come from knowing the answer. Students can still win points, for answers they dont know, by nominating other teams in the hope they get the question wrong. This however is a risk, as they can also give other teams a bit of a boost. A Ponk is a small deciduous mammal from south-east... west Chad. No one knew they existed until I invented them. Crazy.

Aww, a little baby yoghurt. It's pretty tempting to scoop out and eat it's innards... but you probably shouldn't. XL Tangent: "Rule Britannia" was performed in the same year as "God Save the King", 1745, by the band at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, where it was played nightly in defiant response to the Jacobite victory at the Battle of Prestonpans.

When Should You Start Planning A Christmas Party?

No one is quite sure where Violence the Strawberry came from. He has a passion for bursting grapes and pounding bananas. For some reason he has a crippling fear of plums. Christingle is not exactly a reference, but his shape is really similar to the one in "The Christmas Simwormlator", one of Splapp's games. Phlomovite Guide to the Galaxy is a reference to where the second chapter Questions from The Impossible Quiz Book happens. Dinosaur in a Top Hat is a reference to Question 103 from The Impossible Quiz Book. (Note: His description says "Triassic Garden", it is a reference to Question 127 from The Impossible Quiz Book)

Forty two is a reference to Question 42 of The Impossible Quiz, and The Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.

Virtual Christmas Party Ideas

The Question 24 of The Impossible Quizmas tells the player to "Choose your team!", then presents Rudolph and Santa looking at a board with 13 named pictures of reindeer, as well as a horse named Hoss, and Vixen wearing a red headband with antlers. There is also an explosive Quizmas Pudding counting down from 10. Quizmas is a fun, Jeopardy-style game show designed to make the end of term that little bit easier. It was made with KS3, KS4 and KS5 in mind, but Year 5 and 6 should also be able to access the questions. It takes between 45 minutes and an hour depending on the variables of your groups. This book contains all the answers to all the questions in all the Impossible Quizzes. It even had the answers to THIS quiz in it before it was even MADE!

XL Tangent: You should also not give carrots to rabbits because it is not good for them. Wild rabbits do not eat root vegetables. They also do not eat fruit, because it has too much sugar and causes tooth decay. For pet rabbits, the best diet is hay supplemented with dark vegetables. (Forfeit: Rabbit) Sent in by Scott Daugherty: "What is the act of eating outside called?" - Lots of teams answered "al fresco", but the quizmaster stated that the answer was "a picnic", and there was uproar for at least ten minutes. (Forfeit: Al fresco) A question especially for Alan. 60% of the world's Christmas decorations are made in a single town in China, and China gets its name from the Qin dynasty, which invented candles in about 200BC. Thus Alan is asked what the Qin made their candles out of. The answer is, for once, the blue whale, which Alan correctly says and gets a special "Blue Whale Bonus" and a festive cheer from the audience. To be precise many kinds of whale were used, but blue whales were probably among them.XL Tangent: The skin of elephants is permanently quobbled to help them stay cool. This skin helps them retain five-to-ten times much water. General Ignorance Bomb is a reference to, as Splapp says "Your biggest enemie throughout the series, which in fact, sometimes is really hard to deal with it. Johnny Vegas, Josh Widdicombe and Sara Pascoe: No scores given. Broadcast details Date Tuesday 24 th December 2019 Time 10pm Channel BBC Two Length 30 minutes Recorded Wednesday 20th March 2019, 19:15 at BBC Television Centre (Sara Pascoe, Johnny Vegas, Josh Widdicombe)

There's just something about proving to your entire family you know the names of all of Santa's reindeers after a big turkey dinner that completes the festive season. Universal Cereal Bus (UCB for short) is a reference to Question 47 and 48 from The Impossible Quiz 2.
