Babylon is a movie, like Chazelle’s La La Land that I finished and immediately wanted to take a gander at again. From the busiest party to the quietest conversation, all front, side, rear, and height channels get their moments to shine.On the cover we’ve got the film’s main stars in a kaleidoscope-style pattern, which looks gorgeous on the cases solid black background. The film starts off booming with a massive Hollywood elite party filled with drugs, orgies, dancing and an elephant. Exciting, enthralling, magnetic, excessive, grotesque, tedious - Babylon is certainly a unique cinematic exercise. For a film that’s not all jets, missiles, and gunfire, this may well be one of my favorite Atmos tracks to date.
