Lengthwise it didn't add too much to my itty-bitty lashes, which, paired with the extreme volume, can look a little clumpy.

In terms of packaging, I am not always a big fan of Kat Von D’s aesthetics but this time, it’s definitely an exception. I personally think this actually works very well for the mascara, as I like this an an everyday “my lashes but better” type of product, but if you like drama then this is unlikely to make you happy. It's also really difficult to remove, even with a decent eye make up remover so find myself getting sore eyes after persistently trying to get it off! As much as I really like this mascara, there are certain things that I do not necessarily like about it. I’m looking forward to trying some soon and I will let you know if it works for an old duck as well as the young. Just like most of Kat Von D’s products, this mascara is vegan and cruelty-free which I believe is really important. It does have quite a lot of product on the wand when you first use it but I find that makes one coat enough for me. I also really like the brush, which is soft and feels gentle on the eye, so no nasty scratchiness too! I have pretty long, dark lashes naturally but I've struggled to find a mascara that gives effects equal to a heated curler in a few swipes without leaving my lashes resembling a spider.
