At first, Brielle makes a fool of herself, acts like an irresponsible teenager than a nanny and if I were the father, I would definitely kick her out of my house! Obviously the chemistry between Julian and Bree was off the charts and the SEX scenes seriously rocked. He was cold and I felt like he was only focused on the sex with the h and then he flipped the switch and was mushy sweet with her. So, if you’ve read Swan’s “Find Me Alastar” you will have already met the lovely Australian Nanny Brielle and the uptight Judge Masters.

However, even with this is mind this book was the EXACT palette cleanser I needed coming off of throne of glass. As a young law student, he makes the choice to marry a woman who has gotten pregnant after a one-night stand. He prefers to have friends with benefits but he is not loyal to them because at the same time, he goes to high-class prostitutes. But sadly, there was way too much of that and not enough of the rom com vibe, so it didn’t work for me. First of all, I'm not giving this book a bad review because I stumbled upon some erotica and was appalled by its existence.I saw that this was recommended by some GR friends, it was on Kindle Unlimited and on the surface I was into the tropes - older, single, stern dad hires younger nanny (I love me some big age gap romances), a bit of isolation, some funny setups. He and the woman are the only two standing by the bar now, and it’s apparent that he’s avoiding sitting down beside me.
