Marlin's Wynd (partially preserved and on view under the Tron Kirk), named after the Merlioun family This is a very spacious double bedroom with a window overlooking the historic Royal Mile . A 5ft3' (1.60 metres) wide king-size bed with two bedside tables and occasional chair , large built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers provide ample storage space. Edinburgh castle is a short 400 metre walk up the Royal Mile which is a mere 50 metres from the flat. The Palace of Holyrood House and Scottish Parliament can be reached with a short walk downhill.
