A major part of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within takes place in a ruined fortress both in the present and the past. You will often need to travel between the times to find away around obstacles. nala is usually translated literally as "country", but is understood in fictional media to mean "land" or "world" (i.e. the Korean version of Alice in Wonderland translates "Wonderland" as 이상한 나라 isanghan nala).
Though similar to Dream Land in many respects, the Mirror World has little in common geographically with the more familiar world. It has very few open plains, being instead covered primarily with forest. It has very little in the way of cloudy terrain, unlike Dream Land, and its mansion has no analogue to Dream Land. However, it shares many creatures with Dream Land, even having its own counterparts to Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede (known as Shadow Kirby, Dark Meta Knight, and Shadow Dedede, respectively). Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: Dark Aether is a twisted, corrosive version of Aether, albeit occupying an alternate dimension. The layout and architecture is nearly identical in both dimensions, and the biomes are also similar (though much more polluted in Dark Aether). It was at this point that Ryuki appeared and pleaded to Haruto to save the children as he released everyone from the Mirror World. [ The Kamen Rider Rings] Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer combines this with Dark World, launching the player into Shadow Plane versions of some locations in the main world. Nightfallen Jahai in Guild Wars is a dark, Realm of Torment version of the Jahai Bluffs zone, with the same shape (including zone entrance locations), but terrain types and inhabitants appropriate to the Realm of torment. It is implied that this is what the real Jahai will be like if Nightfall occurs (which the players are trying to prevent.)

The Mirror World, also called Mirror Country [1] or Mirror Land [2], is a world that lies parallel to Kirby's home of Dream Land. It is a peaceful world similar to Dream Land. The two worlds are connected through a magical mirror located in the skies of the respective worlds. The Mirror World debuted in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. I imagine it will take at least a decade for the mirrorworld to develop enough to be used by millions, and several decades to mature. But we are close enough now to the birth of this great work that we can predict its character in rough detail.
